​Cooperation in various fields and exchange of views on global issues were among the topics touched upon during the courtesy call from Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions to Brunei Darussalam to Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council. The event was held separately at Bangunan Dewan Majlis.

During the courtesy call with Her Excellency Alexandra McKenzie, British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, both parties touched upon the long-standing bilateral relations. Discussions also touched on aspects of cooperation in existing fields including education, defence and exchange of visits as well as the close relationship at various levels, including people-to-people relations.

Meanwhile, during the courtesy call with His Excellency Mohammad Taghi Rajabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam, discussions touched upon current issues of common concern and interest between the two countries. Both sides exchanged views on the importance of peaceful resolution of global issues and expressed hope that continued efforts through negotiations and dialogue could lead to lasting peace and stability. Also present were Dr. Dayang Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hurairah, Clerk to the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet Ministers' Council and Clerk to the Legislative Council.
